“Poison Prevention: Children Act Fast, So Do Poisons!”

Claire Caruana will be presenting various issues that lead to poisonings, how to be safer in your home, consequences of poisonings, and what to do in case of emergency.
Claire has been a Pharmacist since 1980, when she graduated from Rutgers College of Pharmacy (now known as Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University). She has practiced in Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Consulting, Long-term Care Pharmacy, and Infusion Pharmacy. She currently is working as a per diem Pharmacist for Matheny Medical Center and at Robinson Drug & Compounding Pharmacy in Mendham.
Poison Prevention has always been a very important topic for her. She has done programs for schools when her children were young, lectured for Ford Retirees, community groups, and written articles for national pharmacy publications and local newspapers on this topic.
