In addition to our regular quilt projects we will learn paper piecing, “Dr. Andy’s Way.” If you have ever struggled with paper piecing, this is a great way to learn this important sewing method. Paper piecing is a way of making quilt blocks, using paper foundations to get extra sharp points on stars, clean geometric shapes, or super cute motifs of virtually anything. We will be learning on a basic “log cabin” quilt block, that we will turn into an ornament for the festival of trees. Bring your Christmas fabric scraps, sewing machine and some holiday spirit to this fun workshop.
